If Obama’s challenger for President was Jesus, would Obama win? Most likely, and many of the people who claim to be Christians and followers of Jesus would vote for Obama. There is a god we desire and the God that is. The god we desire likes what we like and promises what we like. The God that is tells us we are sinners who must repent and obey Him.
The god so many people desire (Obama) approves of homosexuality, abortion, and government redistribution of wealth to those who haven’t earned it. The God who is calls homosexuality and the killing of unborn babies “sin” and asks that His disciples voluntarily help others who are unable to provide for themselves.
Obama’s former pastor Jeremiah Wright may actually see his curse, that “god damn” America, be fulfilled. Certainly a President that supports abortion, encourages homosexuality, and the redistribution of earned wealth to those who didn’t earn it will hasten the destruction of the America envisioned by its Founding Fathers—the Founding Fathers who appealed to the Supreme Judge of the Universe in their Declaration of Independence. Voters who support candidates that overtly challenge the commands and precepts of the God of the Bible are joining the candidate in his rebellion against the God who is, Jesus.
Should Obama win, his judicial appointments and Justice Department federal attorneys will be able to wage war against Christians for a long time—long after Obama’s term is over. In the end they will pay the price, but Christians should be prepared for restrictions on their speech and practices that will result from his presidency.

An Obama Presidency

The drive-by media, America’s liberal elites, and 99% of all TV political pundits have decided that Obama will be the next president. Some have even suggested that President Bush and Vice President Cheney should resign immediately after the November 4th election so America can move rapidly into the paradise that they feel is certain to come from Obama’s “superior” leadership and foresight. I wish I had that confidence.

For the sake of my children and grandchildren, I hope that he able to accomplish all that his supporters believe he will. Unfortunately, none of his supporters that I have talked to have been able to tell me specifically what beneficial changes he is going to make. They only agree that they want a Democrat in the White House.

I predict that if Barack Obama wins the Presidency, he will preside over the most overtly corrupt and incompetent administration in the last fifty years. His administration will end up making Jimmy Carter looking competent and Bill Clinton looking like a paragon of virtue. Unfortunately, he will be able to protect his corruption and incompetency by political and judicial appointments and his Democrat colleagues in Congress.

I further predict that;
- Sexually transmitted diseases will increase as homosexuality will be encouraged through sex education and special rights for homosexual participants.
- Abortion rights will increase along with an increase in murdered infants.
- Personal income taxes will be raised.
- Unemployment will rise.
- Energy costs will rise rapidly.
- Government institutions will grow in size and regulatory power.
- Increased crime resulting from an increase in the appointment of liberal judges appointed to the federal bench.
- Illegal immigrant population will increase dramatically with the de-emphasis on immigration control.
- Cost of social services, welfare, etc. will increase dramatically.
- Military will be weakened because of budget cuts and poor morale from incompetent civilian management.
- Internationally, we will become the world’s doormat/joke resulting in political incompetence in foreign affairs, e.g., the inability of political leaders to recognize when military force must be used to protect American interests.
- Christians will lose free speech rights due to hate crime legislation.
- Parents will lose more rights to government schools and social service agencies.
- Talk show hosts that do not adhere to the official government line will have their program content restricted via legislation and liberal judges.

If my predictions are wrong, I will post an apology at the end of Obama’s first four years.

Some have become so openly hostile to the Christian faith that they are upset when a candidate simply wishes viewers Merry Christmas and mentions that --after all-- Christmas is the day Christians celebrate the birth of Christ.

The governor is accused of putting a cross in the background of his ad. The 'cross' they find offensive is nothing more than a bookcase. The critics say also the three lights stand for the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit! What is disappointing is that the media grabs such a concoction and makes big news out of this ad.

To me, these accusations are utterly silly, and biased. Watch the clip from the Today Show. There are those who feel that nothing religious, especially wishing people Merry Christmas, should be made by anyone seeking public office. That is the attitude of those who want to drive religion from the public square.

When I teach I sometimes ask people how many would like a smaller government and less taxes. Virtually all the people reply they would like that. I then tell them this could be accomplished if everyone obeyed the Ten Commandments.

Look how much havoc violating just one commandment--“Thou Shalt not Covet”--brings. If a group of people wanted better public schools, police, parks, and other public refinements, and they hired a gang to steal from people in surrounding states to finance these public refinements, they could be arrested and tried for conspiracy, convicted and put in jail.

But if that same group of people went to their Congressional delegation and had them designate tax money taken from people in other states to finance those public refinements, that would be legal. In fact, if the people in the other states didn’t give the federal government their tax dollars for redistribution, they would be put in jail. This example applies to all political jurisdictions. In fact, counties and towns take money confiscated through taxation by the state from citizens in neighboring counties and towns to “improve” what they are unwilling to pay for themselves.

Our disregard for the Ten Commandments requires larger government to control the excesses of men. Larger government requires a lot of money and government control. It appears that we are a nation of covetous thieves, and that is why we keep electing ethically-challenged political leaders.
